CREATE, ANALYZE, TROUBLESHOOT AND VALIDATE MULTI-TECHNOLOGY CIRCUITS!
Automation Studio™ is the world-leading all-in-one intuitive software solution for increased engineering productivity, a user-friendly trade-oriented platform with access to extensive built-in component libraries to help accelerate design processes of multi-technology systems including: hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, HMI, control and communications. Integrated simulation capabilities make it easy to quickly animate, analyze and validate systems’ behavior and performance. This innovative design and simulation software is used for training, maintenance, validation and troubleshooting of multi-technology circuits in mobile and industrial equipment, covering the entire machine lifecycle to optimize workflows and reduce product time-to-market.
The design process can be easily carried out using components either from the technology standards (ISO, IEC, NEMA, etc.) compliant component libraries or from a rich set of public and/or private (user managed) Manufacturers’ Catalogues, preconfigured for complete documentation. With the Catalogue Manager, users will quickly navigate to obtain information on components such as, their technical data, images, connectivity, performance curves, documentation, specifications sheets, 3D files, test benches and examples of use cases and much more. Regardless of where the user starts the design (i.e., from the component libraries or manufacturers’ catalogues), the Sizing Engine will help for quick and accurate mapping between the virtual and physical components.
Automation Studio™ P7 - Professional Edition pushes the trade-oriented concept a step further, always with the same objective : achieve higher productivity with less effort. Amongst the new features and improvements, it includes a Hydraulic Manifold Block workshop that allows to create and edit manifolds in Automation Studio™. An Auto-Create function can quickly propose up to 100 manifold solutions based on your Automation Studio™ schematic and set constraints. You are then able to tweak the proposed designs to your liking. Take pressure and flow measurements at any point in time during simulation.
Moreover, the Failure Mode, Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) module enhances the reliability and troubleshooting of your systems. It automatically lists and analyzes any combination of potential component failures that could occur in a system by comparing current performance to expected performance and documenting the differences detected. The information collected according to IEC 60812 (FMECA) identifies potential causes and helps prioritize diagnostics, suggest workarounds or mitigation solutions. The analysis report helps to improve the design and apply the pre-established solutions, as well as optimize intervention time for both designers and maintenance specialists.
