    Kennametal Stellite offers a range of casting processes to deliver these components in shapes and configurations that allow engineers to maximize their design potential.  Precision investment & vacuum casting is ideal for intricately shaped components and produces high net-shape parts with good as-cast surface finishes, minimizing machining requirements.  Rapid prototyping allows engineers to trial their designs at a minimum of time and expense.  Centrifugal casting is also offered for producing high-quality tubular blanks with fine, uniform grain structure.

    Our gas and water atomized powders are available in cuts for most processes, including HVOF, PTA, Laser Welding, and Additive Manufacturing.

    In the Oil and Gas segment, our materials are most often used to protect components and systems from abrasion and corrosion, including at elevated temperatures.  Drill bit overlays, drill string wear banding, jar and kick hardfacing, and valve and pump trim hardfacing are all examples of where our materials are used.
