 Products

  • ATEX Compliant Pumps
    ATEX directive for Group 2, Category 2, and Zones 1 and 2. This Group 2 includes Zones G [1 & 2]...

  • Cat Pumps offers a full range of pumps that meets the ATEX directive for pumps used in an explosive atmosphere. ATEX compliance is common in the industries like petrochemical, chemical, oil and gas and bio-fuels. Adherence to these requirements facilitate sales into these markets.

Under the ATEX Directive, equipment is designated by group, category and zone. Cat Pumps has been certified as ATEX 2, which also covers all the ATEX 3 requirements.

ATEX-certified high-pressure pumps are specially labeled in compliance with ATEX explosive atmospheres mandates, each coming with a signed ATEX Declaration of Conformity, a pump data sheet and Supplementary Installation, Operation & Servicing Instructions for pumps in potentially explosive atmospheres.

When safety and reliability matter, make sure to specify Cat Pumps.

  • Liquid CO2 Pumps
Performance range: 0.34 to 50 gpm (1.28 to 189 lpm) up to 7000 psi (482 bar)...

  • Cat Pumps liquid CO2 series of pumps feature modifications to accommodate the unique properties of liquid CO2. The seals are manufactured to handle low lubricity and low temperature that liquid CO2 applications require. Drive-end and manifold combinations are available to cover a wide flow range of 0.34 to 50 gpm (1.28 to 189 lpm) and pressures up to 7000 psi (482 bar).

Cat Pumps offers full technical and engineering support to properly select pumps for the specific application. Pumps are available in brass and 316 stainless steel. Cat Pumps has provided liquid CO2 pumping solutions for over 25 years, working closely with research facilities, universities, equipment manufacturers and site locations to design and provide the best solutions. Please contact Cat Pumps for additional information.

  • TEG Dehydration Pumps
Triethylene glycol (TEG) pumps used in Natural Gas dehydration process...

  • The formation of hydrates in gas pipelines has had a significant impact on industry profits for decades, causing damage of system equipment and unplanned production shutdowns. The addition of Triethylene Glycol (TEG) to natural gas systems is the most common method of removing water from lines and equipment.

Emission compliance and reliability of the glycol system equipment, especially the glycol pump, is essential. Our electric/engine-driven TEG pump product line has been field-proven in the most rigorous dehydration conditions, a reliability you would expect from Cat Pumps. All pumps can be electric/engine-driven to help with HAP’s compliance and lowering of regulatory costs.

    Features:
    • Continuous-duty performance where low life-cycle costs are a must
    • Field-proven performance from 2.3 to 36 gpm (8.7 to 136 lpm) at pressures from 100 to 2500 psi (6.9 to 172 bar) at temperatures up to 240°F (115°C)
    • Brass or stainless manifold construction for compatibility
    • Other model performances available upon request

    Electric-Engine vs. Gas-Pilot Driven Pumps
    • One third or more reduction in methane emissions
    • Payback to refit existing systems with electric/engine driven pumps is less than one year
    • No piston O-ring to wear improves operating efficiency
    • Lower maintenance costs and longer seal life
    • Reduction of Hazardous air pollutants lowers regulatory compliance costs
