A wide range of products for extreme operating conditions
Whether it is for land or offshore oil & gas exploration, cables and interconnect have to be highly resistant to oils, chemicals and explosive environments. Designed to endure these conditions, Axon’ Cable’s multi-element cables are insulated with materials such as polyurethane, FEP and compounds (e.g. Poliax) formulated by the company’s engineers. Countless cable constructions including twisted pairs, shielded, high-flex, power and coaxial cables can be offered for downhole applications and tanker safety cables.
Flat cables can be offered when space is limited. They are also lightweight, have a long lifetime and resist severe operating conditions like shocks, vibrations and thermal expansion.
Flat cables can connect batteries in very severe environment, for example, like the ones used in solar panels which have to withstand ultraviolet radiations.
Axon’ Cable manufactures thermocouple cables for temperature probes. For devices operating at high temperatures, the company, expert in miniature Fluor-based wires, offers cables resistant to temperatures ranging from -90°C to + 260°C.

One-stop shop solutions and miniaturization
In addition to round and flat cables, Axon’ Cable offers complete connected cable assemblies. These watertight overmolded harnesses resist severe environments.
Terminated with Micro-D miniature connectors, cable assemblies designed by Axon’ Cable are particularly well-suited for tools with very limited cabling space. Despite their small size, Micro-D connectors are highly resistant to shocks and vibrations.
Axon’ developed a Micro-D connector able to withstand 260°C heat. Axon’ is the first company to provide 260°C Micro-D connectors certified 2,000 hours in harsh environments, thanks to numerous innovations (patent-pending contacts, inserts, resin and process). The 260°C Micro-D connector is fully compatible with existing equipments and complies with the MIL-DTL-83513 standard.
The group offers a complete range of rectangular Micro-D connectors: PCB, pigtails, savers, strips, solder cups and complex multi-branched harnesses. For the most demanding oil & gas applications, filtered, non-magnetic, hermetic and circular connectors are available.
Axon’ Cable also offers spiral cords for dynamic applications where parts of equipment may be subject to repetitive motions, for example.
