    Remotely Access, Manage, and Trouble Shoot your Machines Securely

    Ann Arbor, MI - Pro-face America announces the release of Pro-face Connect, a ready-to-use embedded HMI service that allows customers the ability to access machines remotely and securely from anywhere at anytime.

    Most current Pro-face HMIs and iPCs are Pro-face Connect ready allowing users to access to their machines remotely to program, troubleshoot, and maintain the unit’s performance. Pro-face Connect is easy to configure based on familiar HMI panels and software, so there is no need for extra hardware or accessories. By adding the Pro-face Connect Link Manager license, customers can even expand their abilities to manage other devices connected to the HMI, including PLCs. Pro-face Connect is ready to go, with a simple online upgrade for activation.

    Pro-face follows a Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL) process, which includes penetration tests, threat model analysis, and strict requirements from the cyber security committee of Schneider Electric, Pro-face’s parent company. This process allows Pro-face Connect to be compliant with Industry level standards for security, making it the ideal solution for managing multiple machines at multiple locations.

    Ann Arbor, MI – May 7, 2018 - Pro-face America announces the release of the new PS5600 modular 12” display industrial PC. This new iPC is a welcome edition to the already popular PS5000 series, and is available in a traditional 4:3 or wide screen design.

    Focusing on modularity, simplicity, flexibility, and connectivity, this 12” display option can attach to any of the PS5000B node boxes, which are configurable with a Core i7 or Celeron processor and up to 16GB of DDR3 memory. The PS5600T with a 4:3 screen is a drop-in replacement for the popular Pro-face PS4600 12” display, and offers a resistive touch screen, while the PS5600W is a wide screen option that offers a capacitive multi-touch screen functionality. The PS5600 offers Class 1 Div 2 certification, IP66 protection and fan-less functionality to create a high quality, durable iPC suitable for multiple environments and applications.

    Ann Arbor, MI - July 18, 2017 - Pro-face America announces the expansion of the SP5000 series by adding a 15” wide screen, and a 19” wide screen unit to this enhanced modular HMI family.

    Adding these two new display sizes, provides a more in-depth offer for those with applications that demand a larger screen.  Both the 15” wide screen and 19” wide screen are equipped with an enhanced glass top design providing greater visualization and durability. The intuitive P-CAP touch panel operation detects 5 touch points at once and features “Touch Cancelation” to prevent unexpected detections by water, or dust.

    Connect to the new enhanced Open Box rear module to run a variety of Windows applications on WES7. The new SP-5B41 Open Box unit comes standard with Pro-face’s HMI Runtime, and offers 2x the CPU computing power, 3x the storage space, and 2x the speed when accessing data than it’s predecessor, the SP-5B40.

    Overall this enhanced HMI series offers sophisticated machine performance; production management and predictive maintenance utilizing operation data.   • The SP5000 series has unprecedented connectivity, creating a new interface designed firmly with the future in mind. It allows a huge variety of data to be downloaded and transmitted in an optimal format to those who need it. This "Smart Portal" technology connects information and people for optimal communication.

    Its modular design allows you to choose the right panel size (from 7" to 19 Wide Screen") and connect it with the proper rear module for your application.
