Columbus McKinnon to Exhibit Magnetek Wireless Controls, STAHL Explosion-Protected Lifting Technology and a Range of Hoist & Shackle Products at the 2018 Offshore Technology Conference
GETZVILLE, N.Y., April 26, 2018 – Columbus McKinnon Corporation (NASDAQ: CMCO), a leading designer, manufacturer and marketer of motion control products, technologies and services for material handling, will be exhibiting at the 2018 Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) at NRG Park in Houston, April 30 - May 3. Visitors to booth 4205 will be able to explore the Company’s Magnetek brand wireless controls for hazardous locations, STAHL CraneSystems brand explosion-protected wire rope hoist technology and a range of hoist and shackle products.
Magnetek’s wireless control portfolio includes ATEX, IECEx and NEC certified, highly durable products designed for precision control of off-shore oil and gas applications.
“Magnetek wireless controls are safe to use in hazardous or potentially explosive locations with gas or vapors, which allows users the flexibility to operate farther away from a potentially dangerous situation than wired alternatives,” said Ben Stoller, Magnetek’s director of radio controls. “We now offer a full line of innovative, versatile wireless controls for hazardous locations, including the XLTX, MLTX2 and MLTX bellybox transmitters and Flex Pro™ and Flex EM handheld transmitters.”
The Company will also display its STAHL CraneSystems Class 1, Division 1 certified explosion-protected hoist technology, suitable for use on oil rigs, in gas liquefaction plants (LNG), and in the chemical industry, wherever explosive gas or dust exists. ATEX and IECEx certified STAHL hoist solutions suitable for Zone 1 or 2 and Zone 21 or 22 are available, as are NEC Class 1 Division 1 and Class 1 Division 2 certified hoists, which can be delivered with further certifications, such as INMETRO, CEC, EAC, and PESO.
Featured hoist and rigging products include the CM® Tornado 360°™ and CM Rigger lever chain hoists, the Budgit® USA spark-resistant hand chain hoist, and CM DNV shackles. In addition, the Yalelift 360° ATEX hand chain hoist will also be on display. This unit is built for use in explosive atmospheres and features a patented hand chain cover that rotates a full 360 degrees to lift loads from virtually any angle. DNV rigging products, like CM shackles, meet the growing needs of the offshore industry and provide reliable performance in the harshest environments.
