  • THERMAL SPRAY
    Southwest Impreglon is now providing HVOF, Plasma, & Twin Arc Thermal Spray solutions with in-house laboratory support in it's efforts to better service it's O&G customers as a "ONE STOP SHOP"...

  • Thermal spray is a mechanical bond process in which metallic materials (Powder & Wire form) are deposited in a molten or semi-molten state by using a heat source & propelled with kinetic force onto a prepared (blasted) substrate. These Coatings can provide properties that the substrate does not possess. They can be used for dimensional restoration, improved erosion and corrosion properties, and repair. The processes allow a range of materials such as TSA, #2 Stainless, Chrome Carbide, Stellite 6 and other materials depending on customer needs.

  • THERMAL SPRAYED ALUMINUM (TSA)
    Thermal Sprayed Aluminum is a corrosion protective coating utilized in the downhole and subsea environments....

  • Thermal Sprayed Aluminum (TSA)  is applied using Twin Wire Arc which utilizes two wires of desired materials fed through a spray gun. Gun is connected to a high-current power source to facilitate an arc between them. An air stream thru the back of the gun propels the molten particles towards a prepared surface. TSA has proven success in downhold and subsea environments and can be applied on-site and in house where SWI can apply the coatings to your large components including up to 90' Risers.

  • SERMAGARD
    Sermagard is 2 part slurry coating system designed for subsea and other highly corrosive environments utilizing sacrificial and cathodic corrosion protection....

  • Sermagard is used on a variety of components from hardware (nuts and bolts) to large BOP components for corrosion protection in subsea and highly corrosive environments. SWI has oven capacity up to  40' in length, 12' in diameter, and 12' in height for the coating application for our customers larger components.
