CDI- Pig Tracking Offshore Pingers & Onshore Transmitters

CDI designs, engineers, and manufactures technologically advanced pipeline pig tracking and locating equipment. With UL/CSA, ATEX and IECEX certifications, CDI has pigging equipment appropriate for any area of the world whether it be onshore, offshore or subsea. ISO 9001:2008 Certified

CDI’s line of onshore equipment includes the TRAXALL Pig Tracking System, X-Series Programmable/ Multi-Frequency Transmitters, and the CD52 Bandit Pig Signaler....

  • The TRAXALL 770 and TRAXALL 620 is CDI's major advance in state-of-the-art pipeline pig location and tracking. TRAXALL 770 is equipped with GPS, Bluetooth, and optional Satellite Radio, allowing anyone to monitor pipeline pig runs from any location. The 770 tracks up to 7 different frequencies plus MFL tools, while the 620 tracks up to 3 different frequencies. The compatible X-Series Transmitters feature programmable frequency and power control allowing the operator to directly manage the tradeoff between the range of the transmitter versus its battery life. X-Series Transmitters are available for pipelines 2"-54".

With thousands of units in the field all over the world, the simple and reliable CD52 Bandit Pig Signaler has a proven track record. Non-intrusive and certified explosion proof, the Bandit detects both transmitter and magnet equipped pigs. Flash memory holds the 10 most recent pig passage dates and times. The Bandit is powered for one full year on two D-Cell Alkaline batteries or can utilize 24VDC remote power.

The CD52-316 Stainless Steel Pig Passage Signaler encases CDI's field-proven non-intrusive pig signaler in a durable, weather-tight cabinet, which is ideally suited for harsh offshore and desert environments....

  • With thousands of systems installed around the globe, the CD52 family has a reliable record in burning deserts, frozen tundra, and every environment in between. The 316SS system may be line or battery powered for greatest flexibility during installation. Two standard D-cell alkaline batteries provide a full year of service or 24VDC power may be used for indefinite operation. The sensing means is a set of patented, non-intrusive proprietary noise cancelling antennas which gives it the ability to reject nearby magnetic noise and halt costly false positive triggering. Remote signaling of a passage is easy with a built-in flashing LCD visual display and dry-contact relays. These normally-open or normally-closed relays may be used in conjunction with existing SCADA systems to integrate the unit into a pipeline and control signaling network.  An optional array of four high-luminosity LED’s, can be seen over distances as great as 100 meters.
The Mantis 820 is CDI’s newest product for non-intrusive subsea pipeline pig tracking....

  • Mantis 820 is a deep-water ROV tie-in solution which provides all the benefits of CDI’s multi-frequency electromagnetic pig tracking in a durable and robust package. The Mantis can track moving pigs, locate stuck pigs, or set up trip-wire to monitor for slippage or other movements of pigs. The Mantis can detect industry standard 22Hz frequencies and/or 2 other CDI TRAXALL transmission frequencies.  The software interface can be run on any Windows 10 computer and is free to download. Also available is the optional turnkey Microsoft Windows 10 Surface touch-screen computer, pre-loaded with Mantis software.  The Mantis 820 is available for purchase or rent.
