    • The shaped charge conducting perforation—explosion occurrs in the wellbore;
    • The high-energy propellants breaking the crushed zone and fracturing the formation – deflagration happens inside the perforating tunnel. It effectively completes perforating and fracturing process in one operation without the risk of harm to wellbore.

  • Ruitong's patented CFS perforating system is unique in its composite perforating charge, which includes a shaped charge and a case of high-energy propellants that coaxially assembles at front end of the shaped charge.

    When detonating the perforating gun, the shaped charges conduct perforation. The propellants then follow the perforating jet into the perforating holes. The propellants travel, gather inside the hole, and  deflagrate continuously under certain conditions of pressure and temperature, and then release sufficient energy directly to the formation. The streams of energy effectively break through the crushed zone and create multiple fractures and further penetration in perforation hole and the formation.
