We are focused on bringing Ocean Thermal Energy to the world. Through private funding sources SSP has developed an optimized OTEC power cycle as well as the components needed to build a 20 MW power plant. We continue to test our proprietary heat exchangers, 4 MW hydrocarbon-vapor power turbine, and cold-water pipe design. We are seeking opportunities to build a prototype 20 MW plant with a projected electricity output cost of $0.22/kWh for the initial plant, and $0.13/kWh for subsequent plants.
