Port of Argentia, a former US Naval Base, is redeveloping to support renewable energy, marine transport, aquaculture, offshore energy, and mining. The Port hosts North America's first monopile marshalling yard for US offshore wind. Partnering with Pattern Energy, it plans a 1.3-GW green amonia project. Other projects include Cenovus Energy's CGS and a $100 maine terminal expansion plan, completed by 2027.
