The OilLock, the best solution for oily water clean-up.
Dutch Filtration presents the OilLock, an innovating filter solution that is specifically designed for effective oil removal from water. These filters have a high absorption capacity and remove 99% of emulsified oil in a single pass. As the filtering process proceeds, the oil absorption cartridge progressively builds up a differential pressure.
When this differential pressure reaches the maximum of 30 DPSI (2 bar), the cartridge will become blocked, preventing hydrocarbon bypass. The cartridge then needs to be replaced.
The 2.5x40 inch oil absorption cartridge used in the OilLock system can hold up to 1.2 liters of hydrocarbons, with a recommended maximum flow rate of 2 m3/hr per 40-inch element.
The OilLock is suitable for a wide range of applications, including bilge water, run-off water, pipeline purge/hydrotest, decommissioning systems, open drain clean-up, mud pit cleaning, polishing slop water, completion fluids, wastewater treatment in refineries, car wash wastewater treatment, landfill leachate treatment, degreasing activities and RO membrane protection.
