The WOMEN IN INDUSTRY GLOBAL PAVILION shall showcase Women Owned and Women led industry organizations, businesses, product and services cut across the entire Energy , Oil and Gas value chain from different countries from across the globe. The WIG pavilion shall further foster closure of industry DEI gaps, mainstream and facilitate more women owned / women led industry initiatives and businesses. This shall be the first of its kind since the inception of OTC Conference in 1969 powered by Women in Energy , Oil and Gas ( WEOG) Uniten States.

Brands: Women in Energy Oil & Gas (WEOG) is an industry Network created to promote gender diversity & inclusion in the Energy, Oil & Gas sector in line with the tenets of the United Nations SDG.

• 2024 OTC GLOBAL ENERGY TRADE AND INVESTMENT MISSION(GETIM): IN COMMEMORATION OF WEOG’s 6th ANNIVERSARY (May 09, 2024)

  The OTC event is traditionally known as an important enabler of engagement between policy makers, business leaders, disruptors and innovators, OTC drives conversations, collaborations and networking that addresses today’s energy needs while building professional capacities.The OTC 2024 GETIM is a great platform for energy business leaders to meet, network, originate, strike and close deals while exploring multinational opportunities across the global energy value chain.This year’s GETIM, jointly organized by the International Forum for Women in Energy , Oil and gas, United States and Women in Energy Oil Gas( WEOG) Nigeria congregate industry executives from leading Energy, Oil and Gas companies from across the globe for knowledge sharing, exchange of ideas and strategies, trade and investment mission with high level networking opportunities.
  In summary , the GETIM is an 8-in-1 strategic mission scheduled for 4 days, 6th-9th of May 2024 with an array of speakers and global thought leaders in the energy industry designed to facilitate global partnerships, knowledge transfers , build networks, strategic alliances and enhance bi-lateral trade and investment, a huge extra value add.
   
  On Wednesday 8th of May 2024, the Global Energy Investment Forum is scheduled to hold with presentations from Keynote speakers,special guests of honor and global thought leaders from the industry

  The usual practice, in return from the global outing within Q2 and Q3  an industry / Nationwide knowledge transfer workshops, summits, training and capacity building sessions detailing key presentations , learning and insights garnered from the  mission will be facilitated for possible customisation and adoption by the African Energy, Oil and Gas Sector.

• Pre-Launch of WORLD DECARBONISATION WEEK (Maiden Year) 2024 (May 09, 2024)

  World Decarbonisation Week is a vital event for raising awareness, exchanging ideas, and taking action on the climate crisis.  Harnessing the power of collective knowledge and actions to build a cleaner, greener world.

  The final day of the OTC GETIM 2024 starting with the Pre launch of the World Decarbonisation Week(Maiden Year) happening at the;

• STRATEGIC FIELD OUTING FOCUSED ON GAS AS A TRANSITION FUEL (May 09, 2024)

  Natural gas is one of the fossil fuels along with coal, sulfur and petroleum. if its burnt, it releases a significant amount of energy which can be used for a lot of activities, appliances and tools to reduce CO2 emissions in the near future. 

  A STRATEGIC FIELD OUTING focused on GAS as a Transition Fuel happening at the Women in Industry Global Pavilion, Booth 402, OTC Arena will be done to educate the general public on these environmental and economical sustainable energy technologies that can help the world to mitigate climate change.
