  • Kalsi Seals are used extensively in oilfield equipment to retain lubricant and exclude drilling fluid. The seals hydroplane on a lubricant film, which dramatically reduces friction, allowing the seals to withstand high differential pressure. Recent advances allow the seals to accommodate higher temperatures, and operate with higher pressure differential and thinner lubricant viscosity.
