The retrofit design commences with Vessel Survey & Scan for collection of necessary vessel details (inputs) and 3D scanning of spaces under consideration for BWMS integration. Post that a feasibility study is conducted including flow calculations to use existing pumps/eductors, integration of the BWMS with the existing P&ID, control systems integration philosophy & electrical load balance calculations. The feasibility study is conducted to select BWTS and arrive at the system configuration to feed succeeding stages in the retrofit.
Ballast System P&ID, Ballast Water Management Plan, Updated Structural Drawings, Lightship Weight & COG update Report and Electrical description of changes are prepared, and submitted for regulatory body approval.
Piping Layout & Isometric Drawings, Piping & Valve MTO, Modification & Demolition Report, Electrical Cable Route Drawing, Electrical Cable MTO and Structural MTO are delivered as part of the engineering design package, including production support.
