  • Conforma Clad(tm) & Ultraflex(tm) Cladding
    Tungsten Carbide or Stellite materials, metallurgically bonded to your high-wear components, enables longer runs between maintenance cycles....

  • Conforma Clad(tm) and UltraFlex(tm) are brazed claddings in Tungsten Carbide or Stellite(tm) alloys. 

    The patented ConformaClad process allows us to deliver a clad protective layer on less expensive substrate materials, providing extend life of high-wear components and conveyance piping.  The ConformaClad process results in a metallurgical bond with the substrate with minimal dilution and heat-affected zone.

    The UltraFlex process adds the ability to clad components with non-line-of-sight and intricate component shape capability.

    Typical applications in the upstream include:  mud motor bearings, flow restrictors, flow diverters, RSS tools, downhole valves, MWD/LWD components, pump casings, pump impellers, and conveyance piping.

  • In 2012, Kennametal Inc. acquired the Deloro Stellite Group.  When you buy Stellite from Kennametal, you're buying Genuine Stellite!  Alloy families include:

    Stellite(tm) Alloys:  A range of Cobalt-base alloys which combine excellent mechanical wear resistance, with very good corrosion resistance, at high temperatures.  

    Deloro(tm) Alloys:  A range of Nickel-base alloys which may be blended with with carbides, producing an even harder deposit.  

    Tribaloy(tm) Alloys:  Nickel or Cobalt-base alloys for use where extreme wear is combined with high temperatures and corrosive media.  High Mo content allows these alloys to perform well in metal-to-metal wear situations.

    Nistelle(tm) Alloys:  Designed for corrosion resistance, particularly in aggressive chemical environments where high Cr and Mo content provide excellent pitting resistance.

    Stelcar(tm) Alloys:  Available only in powder form, Stelcar alloys combine carbide particles with either Co or Ni-base materials to produce a superior wear-protected surface on components.

    JetKote(tm) Powders: Available in various Stellite alloys as well as in Co or Ni powders, blended with carbide particles.

    Delcrome(tm) Alloys:  A family of Fe-base materials for lower temperature abrasive wear protection.

    Custom solid Stellite(tm) components made to your print for your system. Components may be cast (several processes), pressed/sintered, or machined from wrought Stellite 6B. Ask about our Rapid Prototyping capability!...

  • Solid Stellite components are often used in severe down-hole mud flow applications, particularly in MWD/LWD and mud motor tools.  Extending the life of your down-hole systems reduces the requirement for wear-related trips, allowing you to maximize well economics.  Components may be manufactured with high-wear materials only in those areas where high-wear occurs, reducing component cost.  Full in-house machining delivers complete components, to your print, ready for use when they arrive on your dock.

    Powder Metallurgy:  Press and Sinter, Extrude and Sinter

    Wrought Stellite 6B Components:  Cut and Machined from bar stock up to 6" diameter or plate which is available up to 1" thick
