  • The MudCube is the first compact, lightweight solids control system for all types of drilling fluids, eliminating the traditional process of shaking fluids and solids. The enclosed, vacuum-based filtration system separates the cuttings from the fluid, with the cleaned drilling fluids returned to the mud system and the drilled solids carried forward for discharge/removal.

     

    As well as negating the need for costly shaker and drying equipment, benefits include improved separation capabilities and better quality mud; a reduced need for chemical additions to the fluids; less and ‘cleaner’ waste to dispose; and an improved working environment with no noise, vibrations or exposure to oil vapour and mist.

     

    While many new technologies go through incremental stages of adoption, it’s testament to the quality and performance of the MudCube that it is already impacting the bottom line in some of the industry’s harshest offshore environments with recent offshore contracts in the North Sea and Far East.
